Transparent Flowers
# prism installation
The "Transparent Flowers" installation, showcased in the Sennin no Niwa garden designed by Mirei Shigemori at the entrance to Sennyū-ji Temple, presents an ethereal display of flowers crafted from steel lines and prisms. These transparent blooms, suspended in mid-air, sway gently in the breeze, creating a space imbued with a subtle dynamism.
This artwork honors the modernist and abstract expressionist principles Mirei Shigemori found in the classical garden, introducing a novel rhythm of light that enlivens the garden's tranquil atmosphere.
