TOKYO AIR

# public lighting art

At Haneda Airport Terminal 2, "TOKYO AIR" encapsulates the ever-changing Tokyo sky, resembling clouds and wind blending seamlessly in the air.
This grand light installation embodies the dynamism of Japanese sensibility, characterized by subtlety and generosity, while evoking Japan's aesthetic essence of seasonal transitions—showers of blossoms, rolling waves, autumn winds, and winter skies.

In this expansive installation, countless objects converge to form streamlined silhouettes of clouds and wind, creating the illusion of a vast sky.
The expression of this sky undergoes endless transformations through nuanced shifts in light and color.

As viewers approach, they experience delightful fluctuations in light and color reminiscent of the blue sky and the interplay of clouds' shadows, offering a captivating and immersive encounter.
