Wonder Moments 2023

# Art Installation

"Wonder Moments" is an interactive light installation that captures impressive, beautiful, and spellbinding moments found in nature.
Spherical images and music suspended in time and space create an experience akin to observing a distant star in the universe.
The themes draw inspiration from natural phenomena, colors themselves, and the eternal fascination with the beauty and wonder of nature.

Since its opening in November 2015, the world's first seamless spherical projection museum has welcomed 7 million visitors (as of January 2024).
In March 2023, nine new scenes were introduced under the theme "Phenomenon," drawing from natural and biological inspirations, thereby evolving the artwork into a more universal and primal form.
The facility uses 12 projectors to generate 360-degree seamless spherical images that synchronize with floor visuals, interactions, and sounds.
Under the themes of "WATER," "SENSE OF NATURE," "UNIVERSE," and "PHENOMENON," a total of 25 different scenes are displayed randomly.

This setup simulates real-space transitions, creating an effect where time and space are collaged as various scenes unfold sequentially.

WATER
The first scene, "WATER," focuses on the beauty of water, the source of life. This art installation portrays "sculptures of water," with CG water realistically and dynamically simulated within a large globe container.

PHENOMENON
"Phenomenon" is a video installation that visualizes fluid phenomena such as air currents and water using countless luminous dots.
Grounded in the laws of physics, millions of particle clusters are meticulously calculated to change forms continuously, drifting and disappearing as they flow through a non-gravity space on screen.

SENSE OF NATURE
"Sense of Nature" is a work of interactive art where interaction with floor images changes from one moment to the next.
Flowers bloom at one's feet, sea sparkles shine on the water's surface, and a shower of light pours over one's body and hands, as the scene overflows with life.

UNIVERSE
In the final scene, "UNIVERSE," a magnificent installation show unfolds, bridging the gap between digital and analog, real and unreal, life and city, and space and galaxies.
Spatial images and music transport viewers through a captivating journey of exploration.
