Fantasy Aquarium

# Public art

This light waterscape installation transforms a subway space in Osaka, a city renowned for its connection to water,
through projections and multi-monitor displays. The video art features artistic visuals that capture the realistic beauty of nature and river life.

The creation process involved designing four different waterscape scenes as the foundation for the videos.
These scenes, along with the river creatures, were meticulously recreated to mimic a realistic aquarium environment.
Each scene was filmed in high-resolution 8K, and visual effects, including computer-generated fish and other enhancements, were integrated to create a vibrant, dynamic aquarium.

The installation offers interactive experiences that adjust to daily life changes.
It includes responsive bubbles that activate when someone approaches and a feature that adjusts the color temperature of the waterscape in alignment with the sun’s daily cycle, based on circadian rhythms.

Additional features include a bubble clock that displays the time, a photo booth activated through a touch panel,
and dynamic transition imagery. These elements enrich the urban subway environment with a realistic touch of nature and a functionally rich artistic expression.
